The Application of TURIMAN JAGOLE Technological Innovation to Increase Crop Index and Urban Farmer Income in DKI Jakarta

The study aims to determine the effect of applying for intercropping food crops (rice, corn, and soybeans = jagole ) on cropping index income urban farming community activists. This was conducted by comparing use six models growing crops, namely three kinds monoculture model , upland rice-soybean, sweet corn-soybean, corn-upland rice polyculture/ “ Turiman ”. Observational data includes land characteristics, annual patterns in related locations, input-output test models. Corn are harvested young. Data were processed using descriptive analysis economic feasibility tested technology based R/C ratio. Based data, it is known that there potential increase dry or limited Jakarta area, from 1-2 2-3 a year optimizing planting through systems/ crop . such as rice-soybean. results showed soybean model, with yields young soybeans, gave higher profit (R/C 2.58), compared other models, corn monoculture, rice-sweet polyculture, soybean-sweet soybean-upland respectively: 0.24, 0.54, 0.17, 1.25, 1.71).
